Open an existing Help Project

You can open an existing HTML Help Project (.hhp) in in the Help Editor several ways:

If the Help Editor is closed:

• Starting the Help Editor from Windows Explorer
• Starting the Help Editor Windows Start and using 'Show recent or related items'

If the Help Editor is already open:

1. Close the open help project, if one is currently open (File > Close Project)
2. Open a project, either:
3. • from recently opened projects:
   • 1. File > Recent
     2. Select one of the recent projects - or -

• browse to project to open

1. File > Open > Project
   The project selection dialog opens
2. Browse to the project folder
3. Select the Help Project file (.hhp) and press OK
   The project opens in the Help Editor.
