Quick Access Toolbar

The Quick Access Toolbar is a customizable toolbar that contains a set of commands that are independent of the tab on the ribbon tab that is currently displayed. Initially, the Quick Access Toolbar contains the common commands New Page, Save, Undo, Redo.

Tip
Useful buttons to add to the Quick Access Toolbar are 'Font > Clear Formatting' and 'Other > Break'
Note
You can move the Quick Access Toolbar from one of the two possible locations, above or below the ribbon, and you can add buttons that represent commands to the Quick Access Toolbar.

Add buttons to the Quick Access Toolbar

  1. Click the Customize Quick Access Toolbar button
  2. Press menu item Customize Quick Access Toolbar...
  3. Add a command to the Quick Access Toolbar
