Limitations

On the whole Help Capture works well with standard windows and web applications. In some cases the results will not be good:

Not supported

• Applications written in Java (will be supported in the future)

Certain parts not picked up

• buttons which don't have text
• PDF toolbar 
• Excel cells
• WPF applications (this seems caused by the current lack of attention of developers and the platform to MSAA and UIA)
